VIETNAMESE-AMERICAN COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER, INC.

Exhibit Tour at the Smithsonian, Washington DC

On July 21, 2004, the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program had sponsored the tour of the "Return of the Buddha: The Quingzhou Discoveries" to the Vietnamese American Youth in Washington DC. The history and the discoveries of Buddha statues was lectured by docent Hiromi Isobe and the Smithsonian staff and volunteers. The group discussion on the tour was conducted after the lunch.

Minh Quan, 11th grader from California and a pianist, has volunteered to be a VACSC staff and to give piano lessons to the youth during summer.

Thanks to all those who support the VACSC
